retreat. Renowned for old-fashioned attention and service, the Protea Hotel King George
overlooks the famous George Golf Course and offers superb, luxurious accommodation in
Victorian-style. Delicious meals from an extensive menu are served in the Fairway Terrace
Restaurant, and out on the Patio, both of which overlook the Golf Course. |
The
sprawling hotel complex is situated in George, on the eleventh fairway of the famous
George golf course. The George golf course is presently rated seventh in the country.
The hotel has 64 rooms, of which 27 are deluxe rooms, each with 2 double
beds, separate bath, shower and toilet. 20 standard rooms also have 2 double beds and
en-suite bath and shower. All these rooms are pool facing. All rooms are equipped with
satellite TV, hairdryers, telephones, radio alarm clocks, tea and coffee making
facilities. The hotel is next to the Golf Course and we have 16 golf-course facing
standard rooms and suites, each with separate lounge area. An additional suite is located
within the main building. Conference facilities are available for 50 to 300 people and
leisure pursuits include various sporting facilities, from two swimming pools and a
kiddies playground to hiking and fishing. |
